Summary: Ficlet, 1800 words.  Coda to “All Hell Breaks Loose, part 2.”  Sam found out about his brother’s deal 3 hours ago, and now he can’t sleep as numbers take on a whole new meaning for him.
AN:  This is just how I think Sam might deal with what he found out at the end of the episode.  On a side note, this is probably the least angsty story I have ever written, especially considering the subject matter, so it’s kind of a milestone for me; there’s actually more mushy stuff in here than there is angst.  Yay me! :P

Also, I wrote a paper awhile ago for my Personality Pyschology class, and we got to do a character analysis on a character of our choosing and, thankfully, my teacher let me do Dean Winchester (wow that sounds dirty) even though she has only seen 2 episodes.  Already handed it in (got a 95 on it, yippee!, and actually enjoyed writing it) but thought I'd share it with anyone who is interested.  There's obviously psychological terminology/information in here, but it's all explained and easy to read.  So if you want, here it is:

This is just a ficlet that I wrote for the supernatural.tv First Impressions fan fic challenge and I figured I’d share it.  The prompt was: “Write a story about a first impression of Dean, Sam, John, or a combination of the Winchester men. It can be someone from an actual episode, or you can make it up. Hotel managers, people they've helped, anyone. It can be from the person's point of view or told in third person. Your choice.”

The Ripple Effect

Summary:  Ficlet.  John’s been gone on a hunt for too long, and the boys need food, so Dean breaks the rules and takes Sam out to buy some.  But this isn’t really their story.  It’s the story of one woman whose life they unintentionally change forever.  Original character pov, wee!winchesters, brotherly love and some angst.

In random personal news (that probably no one cares about but I feel like sharing anyway :P), I think I may have gotten a cold from the guy I’m crushing on.  I started spring break on Saturday, and at like 1am or something on Friday morning I started drinking with friends.  Suffice it to say that we had an awesome time, I didn’t go to bed until 6:30 or so, and I went to my first class still very slightly drunk, which was interesting to experience once but not something I really need to repeat, *lol*.  Also, I get kind of touchy feely when I get drunk and feel a need to hug everyone, and as I was hugging one of my friends the guy that I have a crush on mentioned that I do that a lot.  I told him that I’d hug him too if I could stand up, and he said he’d do the same, and when I didn’t get up he stood up and hugged me!! :D  Simply friendly; he’s got a girlfriend, so there’s no potential there, which makes me sad, but what can you do?  Then I sampled some of his tequila (Sam’s whole “I can still taste the tequila” thing? – totally true, even if you don’t throw it up), and I’m pretty sure that’s how I caught my cold.  All my friends have gotten sick recently, and I had been just fine until then.  But oh well.  I can think of worse ways to get sick. ;)

Anyway, I’m sure no one is interested in stuff like that, but it was a happy night and I wanted to gush to someone who hasn’t heard me gush about it a million times yet, *lol*.

Also, jellicle, if you’re reading this I sent you something to thank you for the b-day balloons.  Wasn’t really expecting anything and it made me happy.  :)

Summary: Sometimes, all it takes is one other person. A much shorter version of "A Little More Tequila, A Little Less Demon Hunting" with the same mood and message, but with a unique tone and format and without the demon hunting (yet another reason to consider it AU).

This is just a short little something I wrote awhile ago when I was bored.  I thought I should post it before the new episode airs TONIGHT (holy crap, I can't believe the day is finally here - only 19 hours left!).  It's just my thoughts on what might happen if Dean told Sam The Big Secret.  Enjoy and comment.  Thanks to everyone who commented on the last ficlet I wrote.  I'll respond to all your comments from that one sometime today or tomorrow. :) 'Til then, enjoy, and everyone have fun watching Supernatural tonight!!  I swear I'm gonna be a nervous wreck all day counting down the minutes. :D

Summary:  Ficlet, 850 words.  Post-“Croatoan.”  What would happen if Dean told Sam the secret?

There was one scene in "Croatoan" that I loved even more than the obvious one, and I made a connection in my head, and pretty soon I had a small idea that was begging to be written so I wrote it.  Short and sweet ficlet, about 800 words.  I know I should be working on other things, but this took me all of half an hour to write and I think it was well spent.  Read it and let me know what you think. :)

AN: One small scene stuck out a lot for me in "Croatoan," and it got me thinking, and this idea was begging to come out, so I didn't fight it. Short and sweet and kind of angsty, as per usual. Enjoy and comment. :)

Chapter One of "You're Not Alone" is now up.  Expect the chapters in this story to be fairly short, probably around the same length as this one (3,000 words).  I figure that people won't mind them being shorter than the ones from TNBB if that means they come out faster.

AN: For those who haven’t read The New Big Brother yet, I highly recommend reading it, as this is the sequel to that and this will make better sense if you read TNBB first. To those who have read TNBB, I recommend rereading chapter 3 and the epilogue as a quick catch up, because they are a lead in to this sequel.

Secondly, I want everyone to know that I’m making no promises as so how quickly these chapters will come out. They’ll probably come out pretty sporadically, and not as quickly as they have in my other stories. I’m in my junior year of college, and that has to come first. God only knows why I’m deciding to make myself write anymore than I have to right now. Maybe it’s because I haven’t gotten any real paper assignments yet, and I’m feeling a need to write something. Which is pretty shocking actually. I think I may actually be beginning to almost like this writing thing. Which is a good thing, given I’m majoring in English, *lol*. So anyway, I decided I wanted to start putting this out, because the ideas have been growing in my head recently where they were kind of lacking before, and suddenly they are really itching to just get out on paper. And when ideas are begging to be let free, sometimes you just gotta go with it. : )
